Dragons are a mythical winged animal with a large scaly body, enormous claws and sharp teeth. Many are evil, but not all. In the mythical land of Oldenshire there is a place where dragons are raised to be good. They are raised to help protect mankind and protect against those who wish to do it evil. Young men, at the age of 8, pick their dragon egg. They care and nurture the egg until it hatches. They become the caregiver to the dragon for the rest of the young mans life. These young men are not just any young men, they are the future dragonriders. They will raise their dragon and train it for battle. When the dragon is old enough, it will join other dragons in the fight agains evil. When the rider becomes to old for battle, or is killed, his dragon serves to aid in the training of young dragons while awaiting a new rider.
